So I was going to write a post about my cat, seeing as I have no progress to report. On anything. Luckily, Anne at Creating Text(iles) has something much more entertaining -- if you have a dark sense of humor -- posted here: http://creatingtext.blogspot.com/2005/09/potters-museum-of-curiosity-hail-and.html. (Sorry about the unembedded link; I'm posting from work.)
Political note: I opened a new browser window to post this; my browser opens at CNN.com, which at this moment has a red-banner-breaking-news story:
"President Bush says he takes responsibility for the federal government's failures in responding to Hurricane Katrina. Details soon."
Bush? Take responsibility for something that went wrong?
That would be breaking news.
it is just unfortunate that his "taking responsibility" is just another PR move and he still isn't taking responsibility in the hundreds of other things he screwed up!
thanks for the fun link... weird dead stuffed animals :)

ok, you KNOW i'm about as anti-Bush as they come, but a friend listened to his speech and said that there was a tinge of sincerity. She's a retired LCSW, so I know her BS radar works just fine. Either he got a great acting coach, or he knows he effed up.
