Sweater
A long time ago, I decided to make a sweater for the Not So Little One, who, you may recall, was less than wildly enthusiastic about it. Because it was yellow, you see, which isn't pink.
Well, I finished it.*
It has a couple of problems. Something about the neckline doesn't work as a cardigan so it hangs funny, and I (very cleverly, I'm sure you'll agree) forgot to make buttonholes. NSLO wore it to school once anyway, but only once. However, over the winter, it turned out to be a Very Useful** house sweater, and has been used pretty well since then. I think I'll try again -- once I figure out the neckline thing.***
*No, really, yellow; a nice, sunshine-y yellow. Not white. Despite the picture, not white.
** We're reading Winnie-The-Pooh, who is a Bear of Very Little Brain but who nonetheless often does Very Useful things.
*** My knitting group gave me some advice when it was done months & months ago, but I am not sure (still!) I quite get what needs to be done. It might help if I think about it...
