Remember how a year, or two (or more) ago, people were talking about whether they were process knitters or product* knitters?
Well, I had a talk today, so I needed some mindless knitting. Last night, I tried to make my heel so as to have just stockinette. I finished it up, and realized that the foot was too small. I had to rip it all out.
Now, I realize that all knitters are annoyed when they have to rip something out. But I wasn't surprised or disappointed in myself for getting it wrong; I wasn't testing it often enough. No, I just wanted that hour & half back, so I could go to bed earlier.
I think I'm a product knitter.
* Does anyone remember the word actually used?
** This is not going to be a very tall sock; hopefully it'll be warm enough.
I thought it was process vs product, but now you have me doubting myself.
