The Not-So-Little-One takes dance classes at a local studio. They have a yearly recital, and rehearsal for it is in full swing. Each week, NSLO's class (4-6 year olds) takes a turn practicing in the "big room," while that class (maybe 7-9? definitely a year to three older) sits & watches. Since the big room is open, we parents take the opportunity to see what our little darling princesses are doing.
Needless to say (it's waiting), I bring my knitting. I even bring it out to the big room & continue while they dance.
A couple of weeks ago, when I walked out with the other parents, I heard three or four girls (they're all girls) in the big class whisper to each other, "Knitting! she's knitting! Look, knitting!"
Who says knitting is an old-fogie craft?
Wait! I know who you are!
Er. Um, but I don't think it counts... Well, maybe. I might actually be able to meet you someday!
